Atlas of Life

A daily historical atlas

Two pins drop.
One life, six guesses.

A teal pin marks the birth. A gold pin marks the death. The years tick by.

Atlas of Life is a daily guessing game that turns history into a map. Read the arc of a life, birthplace to deathbed, the distance crossed, the century spanned, and figure out who it was. Scientists, artists, leaders, outlaws. A new puzzle every day.

World map with birth and death pins connected by an arc
An arc, read like a sentence

How it works

Read the arc. Name the life.

Each puzzle is the silhouette of a life: two coordinates, two dates, and the distance between them. Your job is to read that arc and name the person who lived it.

i.

Read the arc

A teal pin marks the birth. A gold pin marks the death. The years and distance appear between them.

ii. 6

Six guesses

Type your guess. Six tries. No autocomplete, no hints unless you spend gems. Each guess shapes the answer box.

iii.

Reveal the portrait

Win and a portrait is revealed, along with the story: who they were, what they did, why the arc bent that way.

iv.

Share spoiler-free

Share your result as a clean diagram of the arc: no name, no portrait. Friends see the shape, not the answer.

Six tries

Type the name. The boxes reveal themselves.

Each letter fills a box. Green: right letter, right spot. Yellow: right letter, wrong spot. Wrong answer, the boxes go dark. Six tries to unlock the portrait.

Two pins drop on a world map: one where a famous life began, one where it ended, with the years between them. You have six tries to type the person's name. Letters grade like a crossword: right place, right letter, or neither.

Open the app and go to Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your stats, streak, subscription binding, and account record are erased. This cannot be undone.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, sign in with the same account and tap Profile → Restore purchase. Your subscription will re-sync automatically.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not by us. On iOS, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged.
If you previously signed in (email, Apple, or Google), your stats and streak are backed up. Just sign in again on the new device. If you played without an account, progress is local to that device and cannot be recovered once the app is removed.
